Welcome. We're glad you're here. These terms exist to protect the integrity of your experience, our practitioners' time, and the container we hold together. Please read this before booking any service with I Am Positive Living and The Numinous Moon (referred to individually and collectively throughout this document as "IAP," "TNM," and "we"). By completing a booking, you agree to these terms in full.
Our Services
I Am Positive Living and The Numinous Moon offer bodywork and massage therapy, facial and skincare treatments, breathwork, energywork and somatic sessions, classes, workshops, and ceremonial circles, and virtual wellness services available across the United States.
These services support general wellness and are not a substitute for licensed medical care, mental health treatment, or emergency services. Nothing provided by IAP or TNM constitutes a medical diagnosis or treatment.
Booking & Deposit
A non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total service amount is required at the time of booking. This deposit is applied to your session balance. The remaining balance is due in full at the time of your appointment.
Deposits are non-refundable under all circumstances, including illness, scheduling conflicts, or changes in personal circumstances.
Cancellation & Rescheduling
We ask for a minimum of 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.
With adequate notice: your deposit is forfeited, no additional fee is charged, and you are welcome to rebook.
Within 24 hours of your appointment or no-show: your deposit is forfeited, and a late cancellation fee of up to 50% of the remaining balance may be charged at our discretion. Repeated no-shows may result in a prepay-in-full requirement or termination of the client relationship.
If we ever need to cancel on our end, you'll be offered a full deposit refund or the option to reschedule. We appreciate your grace.
Packages & Series
All packages require a minimum 3-month commitment from the date of purchase. Packages may not be cancelled or refunded during this period.
After the 3-month minimum, you may cancel and receive a pro-rated refund for unused sessions based on your package type. Sessions already used are priced at their package rate — no retroactive adjustments to full price.
Refund requests must be submitted in writing and are processed within 14 business days. Package sessions expire 12 months from purchase and are non-transferable without prior written approval.
Virtual Services
Virtual sessions are available to US-based clients. By booking virtually, you agree that you are responsible for a stable connection and private space. Technical issues on the client's end do not qualify for a refund, though we'll make reasonable efforts to reschedule if disruption significantly affects the session.
All standard cancellation and deposit policies apply to virtual services. Breathwork and somatic sessions carry inherent risks — please disclose all relevant health information on your intake form before participating.
IAP and TNM are based in Texas. All virtual service agreements are governed by Texas law regardless of your location.
Health, Safety & Contraindications
Your safety is our priority. You agree to complete intake forms honestly, disclose any medical conditions, medications, injuries, pregnancy, or relevant health history, and notify your practitioner immediately if you experience discomfort during a session.
We reserve the right to modify or decline a service if proceeding would be contraindicated or unsafe. Please do not attend in-person appointments while ill or contagious — if you arrive unwell, we reserve the right to reschedule and the deposit policy applies.
Scope of Practice
Our practitioners are trained and certified in their respective modalities. Our services are complementary wellness practices — they are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical or psychological condition, and nothing communicated during a session constitutes medical, psychiatric, or legal advice.
We encourage all clients to maintain care with licensed healthcare providers and use our services as a complement to, not a replacement for, professional medical or mental health support.
Client Conduct & Right to Refuse Service
We are committed to a safe, respectful environment for clients and practitioners alike. We reserve the right to end any session and decline future services to any client who is disrespectful or engages in inappropriate behavior toward any practitioner or staff, arrives under the influence of alcohol or non-prescribed substances, or violates boundaries established during a session.
In these cases, the session is considered completed for billing purposes and no refund will be issued.
Privacy & Confidentiality
All client information — including health history, intake forms, and session notes — is kept strictly confidential and will never be sold or shared with third parties without your written consent, except as required by law.
Limitation of Liability
By booking with IAP or TNM, you voluntarily assume the inherent risks associated with bodywork, breathwork, somatic, and energetic healing practices. IAP, TNM, and all practitioners shall not be held liable for any injury, loss, or adverse outcome arising from participation in our services when rendered in good faith and within professional scope of practice. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service in question.
Updates to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of our services following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Questions? Reach out before you book — we're always happy to talk it through.
